Side Hustle
Program Description: Introductory entrepreneur class that gives the tools, and the support to launch and maintain a small 1-2-person micro-enterprise. Eligibility: 200% of FPL.
To register they will need: ID, SSN and proof last 90 days income.
The class will be taught in person at IMPACT, Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. 4-week commitment, four hours per day. Participants will need access to a computer with broadband internet, equipped with Microsoft Office (2013 or later) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (Reader is a free download). Participants will develop and launch a micro-enterprise by the time they graduate. They will also:
Opportunity to earn $400 in Training Stipends
Have an opportunity to engage in fundraising activities
Get an Expedited OH Business Registration and IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN)
Support with logo and/or web page design (if applicable)
500 Business Cards from Vistaprint
Referral for Business Attire
Hard Copy Training and Reference Materials will be provided
