With support from the City of Columbus, Empowered! creates pathways for young adults, with a focus on populations that have been historically underserved in the industry, including People of Color, Women and residents residing in Opportunity Neighborhoods.

This program is designed for young adults to explore careers in the clean energy sector and skilled trades. Designed as an immersive and engaging training program based on up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and expectations, the program utilizes guest speakers, visits to job sites/training facilities and experience from subject matter experts to expose participants to opportunities with upward mobility and livable wages within the clean energy and skilled trades industries. Participants can expect to earn several industry-recognized certifications and have access to employment opportunities, all while earning a weekly participation stipend!
