Job Training / Certification

With support from the City of Columbus, Empowered! creates pathways for young adults, with a focus on populations that have been historically underrepresented in the industry, including People of Color, Women and residents residing in Opportunity Neighborhoods.

This program will serve as an entrée for young people to explore careers  in the clean energy sector that will improve air quality, increase the comfort of our homes, and make our infrastructure stronger. We are actively recruiting now for our next cohort of participants. Participants have opportunity to receive a $250/week stipend plus earn $17/hr. while getting on the job experience. Young people between ages of 18 and 24 can get additional information or receive an interest form by emailing Katie Devlin at kdevlin@impactca.org 614-371-1245.
