If you’re returning home from incarceration, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. Franklin County First Step is here to help you take that crucial first step toward a stable, successful life in the community.
Join us at the Job Center on July 10th from 9 AM to 12 PM for Franklin County First Step. This event is held the first Friday of every month and is designed specifically for people reentering the community.
This is not a typical resource fair. Every provider attending is there to help you accomplish something real before you walk out the door. Our goal is for you to leave having completed a concrete “first step” toward successful reintegration.
At Franklin County First Step, you can:
• Start fixing driver’s license or ID issues
• Get connected to job training and employment opportunities
• Address child support and legal questions
• Explore housing options and community resources
• Connect with healthcare and mental health services
• Get linked with a case manager, workforce specialist, or other support professional
All providers on site are committed to resolving issues, filling in gaps, conducting intakes, and setting up follow-up appointments so you have a clear next step after the event.
