Emergency Rental & Utility Assistance by the numbers:

IMPACT Community Action is mandated to fight poverty!

Each day, neighbors count on us for hope. Often that comes in the form of immediate emergency assistance to help them remain in stable housing. Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families that have felt unseen and unheard throughout this pandemic. There has been great reward in the number of people that have been able to avoid eviction and homelessness while moving toward self-sufficiency.

Quotes from IMPACT Rental Assistance Customers:

"I left feeling like a blessing had occurred! I left with hope. Thank You!!"

"I’m ok now just was going through it by trying to find a job and I found one - thank you!"

"I really appreciate the help you guys are doing in my life right now."

"Just by helping me with rent so I'm able to catch up with my other bills and get back on track and possibly get ready to move into a smaller unit where it's easier to afford."

"Just by helping me keep a roof over my family's head and keeping us from being homeless with nowhere to go."

"I greatly appreciate all IMPACT has done. Thank you very much."

"Helped me get things started to get back control of my life!!"

Our Financials

Fiscal management and accountability are at the core of IMPACT Community Action’s operations.

IMPACT is responsible for the preparation and fair presentation of its financial statements in accordance with principles generally accepted in the United States. This includes the design, implementation and maintenance of internal controls relevant to the preparation and fair representation of its financial statements that are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error.

IMPACT Community Action received its eighth consecutive unmodified audit opinion for the 2014 year.

IMPACT’s revenue flows from federal grants (75%), other grants (22%) and other contributions (3%).  As IMPACT continues to diversity its funding sources, non-federal grants are contributing more revenue than in previous years.  Non-federal grant contributions are expected to rise as funders become increasingly willing to invest in IMPACT’s mission.

Our mission, “to provide hope-inspiring help and real opportunities for self-sufficiency,” underlies all of IMPACT’s programs and services. This mission drives the financial management of agency resources as well, with expenditures focused on this purpose always at the “front of the line”.
