Community Services Block Grant
IMPACT Community Action is a private non-profit agency serving Columbus and Franklin County. Our mission is to reduce poverty by providing hope-inspiring help and real opportunities for self-sufficiency.
As part of our commitment to the community, we are announcing the opportunity for th epublic to review our 2016-2017 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) application. CSBG is administered by the states and provides core funding to more than 1,100 agencies nationwide to reduce poverty, revitalize low-income communities and to empower low-income families to become self-sufficient. The $4,378,600.00 in CSBG funding will enable IMPACT to continue providing critically important community services that stabilize families and individuals that move them from crisis to a better quality of life.
A draft of the CSBG Application will be available to review on Monday, November 9, through Friday, November 20, 2015 from noon to 5:00 p.m. each day at IMPACT Community Action Headquarters at 700 Bryden Road in Columbus, Ohio 43215.
