Public Viewing for 2018-2019 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Application

As part of our commitment to the community, we are announcing the opportunity to review our 2018-2019 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Application plan and budget. CSBG is funded by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services and is administered by the state of Ohio Developmental Services Agency. This core funding allocated to more than 1,100 agencies nationwide and 48 here in the state of Ohio. The purpose of this funding is meant to address local needs that will reduce poverty, revitalize low-income communities and empower low-income families to become self-sufficient. The $5,042,007.00 in CSBG funding will enable IMPACT to continue providing critically important community services that stabilize families and individuals that move them from crisis to a better quality of life.

The CSBG Application plan and budget will be available to review on Friday, December 8, and on Monday through Friday, December 11-15, from noon to 5:00 p.m. each day at IMPACT Community Action, located at 700 Bryden Road in Columbus, Ohio 43215.

If you have any comments or questions about this CSBG application in particular, or regarding IMPACT Community Action in general, please feel free to contact my assistant, Marsha Strong at 614.453.1718 or via email at
