Because No One Should Go Hungry ...
In 2016, during the four Fresh Produce Giveaways that were held in July, August, September and October, 40,803 pounds of food were distributed and 436 households were served! There was a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods and dairy items distributed free of charge.
IMPACT and the Mid-Ohio Foodbank thank the more than 50 staff member, program participants and other volunteers who contributed more than 150 hours of volunteer service to help make the 2016 Fresh Produce Giveaway Program another huge success!
